I touched up the minutes for my own design pitch (Meta Quest 3).  I ensure that the team has completed the minutes and done up the problem statements + purpose statements.  I looked up PUB's water treatment processes to compare the process with nanobubbles technology. (Done together with Ernest)  I looked up Singapore's water supply (percentages) on google. I looked up Sembcorp's role in water treatment (integrated urban solutions).  I looked up Sembcorp's technology used for water treatment (water reclamation).  I looked up Newater's water treatment processes. I used ChatGPT to look up pressure regulators.  I used ChatGPT to look up examples of skimmers ("Recommend skimmers for the Aquapro Nanobubble Generator to skim impurities from the top surface").  I used ChatGPT to look up components of a skimmer ("Components of a mechanical skimmer").  I used Google to search up mechanical skimmers.  I used Google to search up "Why use Arduino as a P

The article "Meta Quest 3: The VR headset most people should buy in 2024", written by Wan (2024) introduces the features and functions of the Meta Quest 3. According to Wan (2024), the Meta Quest 3 is a headset with both virtual reality (VR) and mixed reality (MR) capabilities and it comes with two Touch Plus controllers. The Meta Quest 3 features two pancake LCD displays with a high refresh rate of 120Hz. The pancake lens also increases the field-of-vision (FOV), allowing for greater graphics of images and texts. Due to the new lenses with slimmed down components, the headset fits comfortably on the user's head as compared to the Meta Quest 2 and Meta Quest Pro. The new sensors on the headset allows the controllers to be shrunk down, making the user experience more comfortable. The Qualcomm Snapdragon XR2 Gen 2 chip drives the performance and graphics behind the headset, with faster graphics rendering compared to its predecessors. With its relatively low price as compa

My Self Introduction

Dear Professor Blackstone,   I hope this email finds you well. I am Jarrett Ng and I pursued aeronautical engineering at Singapore Polytechnic. During my basic military training, I decided to sign on as a naval engineer. I had always had a keen interest in warships, especially the combat systems behind the gunnery onboard the warships. How does this gun system work? I had always loved finding out what each part of the component is for in the overall system and how does it work. Hence, I decided to pursue mechanical engineering here at SIT to enhance my understanding in engineering.   My weakness in communication lies in my confidence in speaking. Throughout my whole life, I always have an issue with projecting my voice and sharing my ideas. I would often start off a presentation with a shaky voice and only becoming more stable as the presentation goes on. Despite all the presentations I had went through, I always seem to go back to where I was originally. Being an introvert doe
